Did we mention, it's about oil (http://zarfmouse.livejournal.com/3183.html)?

Ok. Maybe it's just late at night and I'm hallucinating but I do think this could be the single most important meme that ever needed to spread at lightspeed through blog space. Everyone needs to know about this.

Do what William says and go there now. William is one smart dude.

Unless of course you're busy being overwhelmed by the constant stream of contradictory international political information. Then continue with your chilling out, we've got your back.

It's about links

You know I'm becoming an insane blogging addict when I just start posting links of interesting stuff.

This article was mentioned by Tom Tomorrow. The story is chilling: the FBI coming to question a kid because some idiot wanna-be do-gooder saw him holding a computer print out with the word "weapon" on it and we all know that any 10 year old with a DSL line can build a nuclear weapon FROM PLANS ON THE INTERNET. But actually a totally tangential part of the story rang especially true to me about how law enforcement does business in America.

They follow me out to the parking lot, where Trippi asks me if there's anything in the car he should know about.

"Weapons, drugs? It's not a problem if you do, but if you don't tell me and then I find something, that's going to be a problem."

I hate that the Feds can just LIE to people like this. It's so nasty. A cop used the exact same tactic on me and some friends once, and luckily we in fact didn't have anything in the car. But come on, "it's not a problem if you do"...my ass it's not a problem...spending years in jail is a problem for ME and you'd better believe you'd get arrested if you tell the agent or officer "oh yes, I have this bag of weed right here under the seat".

In other news. It's about oil. A savvy weatherman in Florida has noticed that US forces are probably piping oil into Kuwait for sale as we speak.

Oh and there's good news today too. The Senate scrapped Total/Terrorism Information Awareness.
