No real surprise

I have the same results, +/- 4%.

Where I disagree with Dean tends to be in the gun control, death penalty, foreign trade, and health care areas. It's interesting that this site lists Dean as opposed to immediate withdrawal of troops from Iraq, and I just read someone saying the opposite today. Either way, immediate withdrawal would probably be a bad idea unless a UN peacekeeping force is ready, or there is some Iraqi security force already in place. Hopefully some troops are also currently rebuilding Iraq. I can't say I've followed the situation closely lately, but whatever the military is doing that is drawing violent resistance is probably unnecessary. That seems to be the only point on which I disagree with Kucinich, and I expect it will be somewhat of a moot point in a year from now.

Is this basically the same as that candidate matcher from last year? The questions and results are extremely similar, down to the percentage. If so, it looks like it had a bit of a makeover.

I think the UN is sufficiently eager to be involved in a peacekeeping capacity that a UN peacekeeping force could be created and deployed simultaneous with planning for extraction of US troops.

I'm sure that's what Kucinich has in mind. I'm sure radical campaign promises of "immediate withdrawl" would be moderated to "as fast as possible to ensure the smooth transition to UN administration" once in office.

This is a different site than the candidate matcher that I've used in the past.

I think you're right that their data isn't neccessarily up to date on Dean and probably not on others as well.

Heh. My 2% is actually the lowest percentage I've seen anyone get so far. A surprising number of people are getting 6% or so for him.

You see me and Bush just don't see eye to eye.

There were a couple issues that "sounded" like they were bushy things but I had no idea what they refered to specifically so I left them as "no opinion". That's probably what did me in.

Some of them are trick questions.
