After watching the low res download of The Miami Model, I had to order the DVD. I just got it the other day and I'm dying to show it for some folks.

A friend of mine who got arrested with me in NYC is going to be in town on Sunday and we were thinking of having a potluck anyway. So how about a Potluck and Miami Model movie showing on Sunday at my house from 1pm-4pm?

I downloaded it a couple of days ago, but the Sickness o' the Stone Household has prevented me from plopping in front of the computer and watching it...

The DVD is way higher quality than the download. You should come over and watch with us on Sunday.

My brain is melty. Send me an e-mail to remind me about Saturday morningish. Sara's parents are in town for the weekend, though, and I'm not sure until when...

I'm watching it now. They did a great job, especially given that Indy Media stuff tends to be low budget. (This wasn't intended to be snarky; it's just that the big Hollywood studios have some *very* expensive equipment to play with, and I'd suspect that Indy Media does not.)

Yeah, but even the camera work seemed pretty good - not an excessive amount of shake, and they didn't just keep it on a tripod. Some of the professional video equipment (like Steadicams) is really expensive, and I'm doubting that most IMCstas can afford that.

When you've got 40 people wandering around with cameras it's pretty easy to pick out the stuff that's reasonably stable. I can guarantee you no one there had steadicams or tripods.

Ooh, wish I could make it! Hmmm, will have to remember to bring up as suggestion if I make the movie part of the New Years Extravaganza this year!

I'll be there. I had downloaded the low-res download whenever you previously posted it, but I hadn't gotten around to watching it yet. Good thing.

I'd love to come. I will be at work. Therefore, I won't come.
Your geometrical proof of inavailability for today. :)
